Key Holder Program

We have set aside 2 months of the year for our Key-Holder program which is designed for artists to pursue ongoing projects or create a new body of work over a dedicated period in the studio.

Participants commit to the two months Key-Holder Program with the aim of nurturing a creative communal atmosphere. We encourage all members to join in an informal monthly critique session where artists can discuss their ongoing projects and artwork with their contemporaries.

Limited to 5 artists, each artist can access the studio 4 days a week, except for Monday when we are closed. Presses will be available to book for two sessions per day.

Artists are responsible for bringing all their own printing supplies.

The Key-Holder program is a two month contract, limited to 5 participants. Fees are payable in advance on the 1st of each month.

Access to the Project Room is 4-days per week. Etching presses must be booked in advance in 4 hour slots between 9.00am to 1.00pm or 1.30 to 5.30pm. If the press you want has not been booked by 9.00pm the evening before you print you can book the press for the whole following day.

$260 per week, access 4 days a week

$1,040 per month (16 access days)

All prices in Australian dollars. Accommodation is not included. Hotel/AirBnB recommendations can be provided upon request.

One plans chest draw, cubby for supplies, and an individual work table, 120cm x 150cm.

Cleaning supplies, rulers, speedball brayers, newsprint, rags, palette knives, scrapers, tissue, large drying rack.

We will have a small selection of printmaking papers available for purchase, as well as tarlatan sold by the yard.

Available for Individuals at $500 per day (10.00am to 5.00pm). $75 for each extra person, up to 3 (maximum of 4 per group).

Technical assistance and mentoring: $75 hour
