There are few Printmaking studios in the greater Sydney area that offer access to Australian and international artists to make unique prints on a large scale. Due to their size, weight and cost, most printmakers are not able to own their own large format etching presses, and there are no open access studios that offer facilities for well-established professional artists to make work on a grand scale in a well-equipped studio setting and at a reasonable cost.

Our workshop and studio will attract professional artists from across Australia and the world to come to Sydney to learn printmaking techniques and produce works on latest state-of-the-art workshop facilities.

We have modelled our workshop on similar successful operations that Jenny has visited, taught and printed at in the UK, Europe and the USA. The workshop offers a variety of opportunities for artists to learn printmaking in introductory and in-depth classes and workshops and provides open access opportunities for artists to use the facilities to print their own work, both on a per-day rental and on a subscription membership basis.

Our workshop is designed for the professional artist offering accessible facilities in a location convenient to central Sydney, with technical and artistic support as well as the opportunity to work on a custom-made etching press that is one of the largest in Australia.

Our studio focuses on cutting edge printmaking techniques and technologies, facilitated by the large press, which will enable professional artists to push the boundaries in printmaking, aided by the expertise and guidance of our Master Printmaker, Jenny Robinson.
